The Team Members

Stephen Collingwood - The newly elected Squire of the team. He has danced the Morris for longer than he can remember. When not dressed in baldricks and bells, he earns a living as an EHO sorting out 'Lives of Grime', and he sings with the East Surrey Choral Society (http://www.escs.org.uk/ ) and St Matthews Church choir

John Havercroft -
He has escaped from teaching languages in the disorder of the modern classroom to his boat. He has special knowledge of the world of rare and old books.

Paul Beaumont – Team Fool and newly elected foreman for the team. Paul teaches generations of primary school children having been a children's entertainer. If you are very lucky he may read you some of his poetry. See http://schoolofeverything.com/teacher/paulbeaumont

Jon Wimhurst - Bagman. The team owes its existence to his commitment in keeping in touch with all so CONTACT HIM NOW. He spends his spare time from his family and the Morris, at a printing firm which is jolly handy in producing our annual programme.

Brian Collins fights a losing battle as the side's musician but one day he'll convince the dancers they ought to listen. He long since fled the rigours of the schoolroom and now lectures music to adults who are even older than he is.

Roger Hill - is our bagman for our Day of Dance. (See our events and his contact details) He has friends and family all over the world and his 4x4 shows the battle scars from riots in distant lands and encounters with exotic large wild-life.

Rob Jukes - Is the youngest member so can jump the highest and can do a good mimic of an ape. He sells the finest and best photographic equipment known to mankind and has productive relations with Old  Palace, our local women's Morris side.

Ben Roberts is now our newest member and is learning the dancing well. He is highly skilled in carpentry and other trades and is living proof that Yoga does indeed keep him supple.

David Williams - is our Treasurer and is doggedly learning the complexity of Morris dancing. He is now almost retired having spent over 40 years working with computers. The emblem on the back of his waistcoat depicts this with a famous cartoon and the caption, "Hit any Key !"

John Beckford
- Corner him in a quiet part of a pub for rewarding discourses on any subject.

Malcolm Hill - You may not immediately recognise him as he may be disguised as a Wild Boar from the Great North Wood. He has been  well restored by a friend from the National Opera. His skills as a St Johns ambulance medic have not to date been tested by any of us....
